Ambassador Labetsky: Brazil under Lula will maintain a position of rejection of sanctions against Russia

Brazil, under the newly elected President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, will maintain a principled position of rejection of unilateral sanctions against Russia. This statement was made by the ambassador to this country Alexey Labetsky.

The diplomat also noted that “it is absolutely clear that the collective West will try to connect this country to those sanctions regimes and to the sanctions policy they are pursuing against us.”

Labetsky pointed out that Brazil is a country pursuing a sovereign foreign policy. The authorities of this Latin American state determine their own interests not according to what certain countries dictate, but determine their foreign policy based on national interests, the Russian representative concluded.

Meanwhile, the 252nd day of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine is underway. Vladimir Putin, in a conversation with Erdogan, said that the Russian Federation will return to the grain deal only if Kiev guarantees security. Erdogan said that the ships that have already left the Ukrainian ports under the agreement will continue their journey. Hacker who moved to the DPR from Ukraine “Joker”, who hacked the control system of the APU, said that he has “spies” in the ruling circles of Kiev.
