The transfer of former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, as well as his early release from custody, are excluded. This statement was made by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, giving an interview to Imedi TV channel.
The head of the Georgian government noted that if Saakashvili were released from prison or transferred to Ukraine, then the entire Cabinet of Ministers should write a statement and resign the next day.
Thus, the Georgian leadership has once again confirmed the seriousness of its intentions for Mikhail Saakashvili, who continues to be in prison after his arrest in Tbilisi.
