Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov did not find a reason to comment in the news about the construction by the Polish authorities of a “fence” on the border with the Kaliningrad region, a Russian enclave region.
When asked how he would comment on this fact, Peskov replied: “No way, it’s up to the Poles, the Poles to ask them to comment.”
Earlier today, information about the beginning of the construction of a fence with barbed wire along the border line was published with links to the Minister of National Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak. At the same time, various publications with reference to one official called various reasons for the construction of the structure — up to the need to defend the EU from illegal migration.
