The reserve formations of the armed forces entered the Kharkiv region. According to local authorities, fighting continues along the entire contact line. According to the Military-Civil Administration of the region, families with children are advised to leave the areas of combat operations.
The Telegram channel of the CAA says that the city of Balakleya and the village of Shevchenko remain under the control of the Russian army, as well as the civil-military authorities. Humanitarian aid continues to be provided to local residents.
Earlier it was reported that the AFU fighters attempted to take Balakleya into the ring. This was stated by the head of the military-civil administration of the Kharkiv region Vitaly Ganchev. He noted that the Russian military repulsed this attempt. According to Ganchev, the Ukrainians “managed to bend the defense line a little bit in part of the territory, then they were thrown back again.” The city remains under the control of the Russian military. However, it is under constant shelling.
