The official representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, speaking to reporters, complained about the lack of dialogue with the Russian authorities on the exchange of the American Paul Whelan, convicted in Russia for espionage.
“Russia is not negotiating in a constructive or serious manner on the case of Paul Whelan, considering his case separately from the cases of other unjustly convicted Americans,” the official said.
