Nebenzia: migrants from Ukraine are registered, not “filtered”

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzie, had to answer the “fantasies” of Western politicians and diplomats about migrants from Ukraine.

Speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council, the Russian representative stressed that all Ukrainians who arrive in the country go through the registration procedure, and not “filtering”, as claimed in the West.

Earlier, diplomats from Albania, the United Kingdom and the United States said that Moscow allegedly conducts “filtration operations” with Ukrainians arriving in Russia. According to Western diplomats, residents of Ukraine are being forcibly taken to Russia.

“Of course, there is border control, and internally displaced persons are registered, after which those in need are helped to get to stationary temporary accommodation. We draw the attention of those who are trying to substitute concepts: Ukrainians arriving in Russia and residents of the DPR and LPR undergo the registration procedure, and not “filtering,” Nebenzia stressed.

“The meeting of the UN Security Council, held on the initiative of the United States and Albania, represents a new milestone in the disinformation campaign unleashed by Kiev and the West,” he said.

The diplomat’s indignation was caused by Washington’s unsubstantiated accusations that Moscow is allegedly creating “filtration camps” in Ukraine. He added that the Russian side intends to request a new UN Security Council meeting on September 8 on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine.

Ukraine took responsibility for the explosions at the airfield in Crimea

Photo: pixabay.com

The Armed Forces of Ukraine for the first time acknowledged their responsibility for the explosions that occurred on August 9, 2022 at a military airfield near the city of Saki in the Crimea. This was stated by the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valery Zaluzhny, and the first deputy head of the Rada Committee on Defense, Mikhail Zabrodsky, in an article published in Ukrinform.

According to the text of the article, the explosions at the airfield in Crimea allegedly occurred as a result of missile strikes by the Ukrainian army. Until recently, Kiev has not openly declared its involvement in the explosions on the territory of the airfield.

Zaluzhny and Zabrodsky in their article claim that in 2023 the fighting will continue. They called the seizure of Crimea one of the key tasks of the fighting. But, according to Zaluzhny and Zabrodsky, even the loss of Crimea will not lead to a decisive defeat of Russia, so Ukraine must strike deep into Russian territory.

The Reuters news agency reported that the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny expressed doubt that the special military operation (SVO) of Russia will be completed this year.

The Commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army also made an appeal to fellow citizens to be ready for the continuation of hostilities. At the same time, he noted that the continuation of its will require the continuation of Western arms supplies to Kiev, as well as the organization of counterattacks.

Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky, during a speech to representatives of the G7 countries, expressed a desire to end the conflict by the beginning of winter. At the same time, he has so far refused to use negotiation mechanisms to achieve this goal.

The Baltic States begin to close entry to most Russians in 10 days

Photo: Global Look Press

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgar Rinkevich said that the ban on crossing the borders of the Baltic States for Russians with short-term Schengen visas will begin to be implemented within 10 days. The diplomat noted that the decision is coordinated at the level of the Baltic states, and the government of each country will take it separately.

It is indicated that the ban will apply to the borders of the Baltic states with Russia and Belarus. Russian citizens with short-term visas will not be able to cross the external border of the EU here – land, sea, border at airports.

When asked by journalists how effective these measures can be, given that other participants in the Schengen Agreement have not yet introduced such measures, Rinkevich explained that many Russians use the Baltic section, as well as Finland and Poland, to cross the EU border. According to the diplomat, the maximumefficiency can be achieved only with unity in decision-making, “but regional cooperation is also quite effective.”

“In terms of security, this is an effective step,” Rinkevich added.

At the same time, the minister noted that the government will separately mention “the exceptions that we agreed on” in its order on visas.

The military commander Poddubny declared the inability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to consolidate success in the Kharkiv direction

video frame: clearing the settlement from the nationalists. source: social networks

Military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny in his telegram channel gave his analysis of the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region.

He reacted to the assumptions that, according to him, have been stirring up Telegram for the last day: allegedly, the failed actions of the Kiev regime formations in the south are just a distraction, and the enemy has conceived a real offensive in the Kharkiv area.

As Poddubny writes, “in fact, everything is not quite so”.

According to him, the Kiev regime, “against the background of attacks in the south, was able to concentrate additional forces and means” and in the northern section of the line of combat.

«And here everything is like in the south », – he writes and mentions the Polish version of the T-72, «heterogeneous armored vehicles », personnel, « which was prepared by the whole NATO world ».

And the tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as he believes, are also “already clear” here: intelligence reveals “weak points on the front line, where we have few forces and means”. This is followed by a fire defeat of the communication lines with high-precision missile weapons, then massive artillery strikes on the front edge, and assault squads enter the battle.

However, as Poddubny points out, “the events on the southern segment of the front have shown that it is smooth only on paper,” and the APU can “try to play attacking combat operations in the Balakleya area.” However, “for a deep advance, the APU does not have enough strength or the quality of combat control of these forces.”

“Local success during the actions of the regime formations is possible, but the APU will not be able to consolidate this success,” the military commander predicts. “The enemy lacks aviation, reserves and the quality of command and control of troops for this.”

And therefore Poddubny believes that “the next actions on earth with a deplorable ending” the Kiev regime, as usual, will “bring to a landmark “help” in the information field.

Medvedev called Truss a “thermonuclear Russophobe”

Photo: Natalia Gubernatorova

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev spoke in his telegram channel about the “changing of the guard” in the British government, where Liz Truss took Boris Johnson’s place.

“The freak-uncle left, the freak-aunt came,” Medvedev wrote about this rotation.

He called the new “prime minister” an “incompetent and mediocre thermonuclear Russophobe” who, in Medvedev’s opinion, does not have “elementary ideas about politics, history, geography,” but wants to defeat Russia in everything.

In addition, the deputy chairman of the Security Council wrote that Truss “mows under Margaret Thatcher, not having her abilities even by 5 percent,” but hopes to “overcome the energy crisis and food inflation,” which were “the result of her own delusional sanctions exercises.”

Medvedev predicts that the new British prime minister “will quarrel with everyone, fail everything and leave in disgrace, like her predecessor.”

The politician also did not miss the opportunity to “print” Johnson, calling him a “shaggy Boriska”.

Putin responded harshly to Borrel because of scandalous words about Russia

Photo: en.wikipedia.org

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the words of the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrel, who earlier made a statement about the alleged “fascist Russia”.

During his speech at the WEF, the Russian leader noted that Borrel “just grinds his tongue”. According to Putin, this man is a great specialist in this area. “God is his judge,” the President of the Russian Federation pointed out.

In addition, Putin concluded that Borrel in the 1930s would certainly have been on the side of the fascists in Spain, since in modern times he supports the putschists in Ukraine. As a result, the Russian leader noted that if Borrel has “at least a drop of conscience”, then he should draw the right conclusions and understand that real Nazism is flourishing in Ukraine.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on the words of the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrel about the Russian Federation. She called them “disgusting”.According to her, Borrel has repeatedly uttered statements that do not correspond to his position as head of diplomacy. The speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that Borrel is a Spaniard and that “we understand the difficult history of Spain in the XX century”.
