Currently, Ukraine’s de facto jurisdiction does not extend to the Kherson region, said Deputy head of the regional administration Kirill Stremousov.

Earlier, the Government of Ukraine approved the candidacy of Yaroslav Yanushevich for the post of head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

In a comment to RIA Novosti, Stremousov said that the appointee of Kiev is a “virtual governor” who will never come to the Kherson region, and now the personnel decisions of the Kiev authorities have no meaning for the region. According to him, the decisions of the “Nazi elite, entrenched in Kiev,” are actually criminal.

Stremousov said that any remarks from Kiev are not taken seriously in the region. “They crossed the boundaries of ethics and morality, starting to shell the peaceful Kherson region and rejoice in the destruction and casualties among civilians,” the deputy head of the region said.

The Russian Armed Forces have established control over the Kherson region, new administrations have been formed in the region, Russian TV channels and radio stations are broadcasting. The regional authorities announced plans to join the Russian Federation.

Moscow does not see Kiev’s readiness for substantive peace talks, but only “ridiculous” statements, said Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN.

In an interview with Jackson Hinkle on The Dive podcast, he stated that Ukraine has shown absolutely no signs of having a responsible position on peace negotiations, and Kiev’s demands cannot be considered in serious negotiations.

“We have not come to this yet,” Polyansky said, noting that the Ukrainian authorities are limited to political statements about the theoretical possibility of negotiations with Moscow.

According to Polyansky, one of the conditions for Kiev to start negotiations is the withdrawal of Russian troops from Donbass and Crimea. “This is just ridiculous,” the diplomat said.

In his opinion, while Ukraine is not a contractual partner, in connection with which the special military operation will be continued.

“Ukraine is a vivid illustration of the terrible diagnosis of the Western military–industrial complex,” Kedmi said. He noted that the German authorities said they would give as many weapons as they wanted, but in fact it turned out that they simply did not have military equipment.

“In fact, there are only 40 modern tanks in Germany. And in total, Germany has only two hundred plus tanks,” said Kedmi, adding that this is taking into account ancient rarities.

The expert stressed that Britain has about as many modernized tanks, and France has a little more or less new ones.

“Americans actually have big problems too. Here is the F-22, there are very few of them, piece goods, discontinued. The F-35 “ate” hundreds of billions, but came out much worse,” Kedmi continued, stressing that this is why these “strange meager arms supplies to Ukraine” are being carried out.

Kedmi believes that the West will not be able to restore the potential of the military-industrial complex in the coming years, since for this it is necessary to build new factories and find resources. At the same time, most of these enterprises have long gone bankrupt and there are only two or three giants that cannot work at full capacity due to the crisis.
